The town of Pforzheim, Germany (approx. 120,000 residents) is the economic and cultural center of the northern Black Forest region and is one of the most important business centers in the federal state of Baden-Württemberg. Pforzheim’s unique position within the northern Black Forest region makes it an ideal hub for all kinds of leisure activities, such as mountain bike tours, golf, hiking, and winter sports. The city is an attractive place to live and work for a number of reasons. First, it is close to the metropolitan areas of Karlsruhe and Stuttgart. Second, it is connected to international rail routes. And third, it is close to the airports in Stuttgart (around 30 min.) and Frankfurt (around 60 min.).
